After 40 years together, actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are still uninterested in marriage.
"Why should we get married? Isn't that a better question?” the Oscar-winning actress told CNN last week. "Who's talking to Chris Wallace?"
Russell, 72, and Hawn, 77, have met on most occasions over 50 years ago and have been a couple since the 1980s.Although they sparked marriage rumors in 1989 when Russell Hawn appeared to propose during an Oscars ceremony, the two never married.
"Because we're married, and if it doesn't work out, it's a big deal. Someone has to own something. It's always bad," said Hawn, who had two marriages before dating Russell and was previously married.
"Somebody really needs to look at this and say, 'How fun is a divorce? How many divorces actually don't cost money? How many divorces make you hate that person more than you did before? How many divorces have harmed children?' she added.
