The PS5 has hit another sales milestone as Sony confirms that the next-gen console has sold over 40 million units. It didn't reach that milestone as quickly as the PS4, but that's largely due to severe delivery issues during its first two years on the market. While it used to be almost impossible to get a PS5 at retail, these days it's not hard to get a PS5 at a fair price if you really want to buy one, and the system is available at retail regularly.
