OnePlus launched the Ace 2 Pro in China today. As the name suggests, this is the Pro variant of the OnePlus Ace 2/OnePlus 11R with more powerful hardware including Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 150W fast charging. This is for the 12GB RAM version and 256GB storage. OnePlus will offer the Ace 2 Pro with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1240 x 2772p and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel can reach 1600 nits. The fingerprint reader on the screen is responsible for biometric data. Under the hood of the Ace 2 Pro is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.This is paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. The program supports ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. The pack is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.
For photography, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has three sensors on the back, including a 50-megapixel wide-angle, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and another 2-megapixel macro. There is a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The configuration looks identical to that of the OnePlus 11R.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.OnePlus announces the phone's Rain Water Touch technology, which uses a combination of a custom touch chip and an internal touch algorithm to keep the screen working even when wet. The first sale is scheduled for next Wednesday, August 23, but the limited edition is coming seven days later. The launch is for China only, and since the first Ace Pro was re-launched as the OnePlus 10T, we can only hope that this device will soon be available globally as the OnePlus 11T.
