 The Motorola Moto G53 was launched  in December and the company is already  preparing its successor, which is expected to be called the G54. 

 We've seen this in some not-so-impressive renders that were leaked earlier this month, but  a treat awaits us today. Legendary leaker Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has put together some very official press takes on the upcoming mid-range device. Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

According to a report by The Tech Outlook, the upcoming Motorola G54 smartphone is a 5G phone and will be available in four colors: Ambrosia, Ballad Blue, Coronet Blue and Outer Space. Here are the key specs, but it's worth noting that there's no chipset information and no fast charging details.

We see three of the four colors rumored to be introduced: Outer Space (dark gray), Coronet Blue (a bright blue), and possibly Ambrosia. In addition, there will also be a version of Ballad Blue. If you're wondering what weird names are, they're Pantone color names. That's why Motorola maintains an enduring partnership with Pantone.

Earlier rumors said that the G54 would appear with the sixth generation.5-inch FHD+ touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 50 MP main rear camera, 16 MP selfie camera, up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB expandable storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery . This doubles the maximum capacity of its predecessor and also features a higher resolution screen, but other than that there don't seem to be any upgrades.
